Vaisala Helideck Monitoring System
The unique Vaisala Helideck Monitoring System (HMS) provides accurate information on the prevailing weather and helideck motion to ensure effective flight planning and safe landings on offshore installations. Measurements are based on Vaisala’s world-class, reliable sensor technology, which is integrated into weather stations designed specifically for offshore weather monitoring. The advanced operator's software includes a real-time data display, reporting tools, and critical alarms to enable the operator to make better informed decisions during critical weather situations. A web interface allows the data to be viewed on any PC in the network. The weather station electronics are available rack-mounted or as an outdoor marine hardened version for installations with limited equipment space and less field cabling.
